Service Description

ChangeThisFile provides free online file conversion between 500+ format combinations. Conversions are available via our web interface and API.

Free and Pro Tiers

The free tier includes unlimited client-side conversions and rate-limited server-side conversions with ads. Pro subscribers ($9/month or $69/year) get unlimited server-side conversions, API access, higher file size limits, and an ad-free experience.

Advertising

The free tier displays ads served by Google AdSense. Pro subscribers do not see ads.

File Handling

Client-side conversions are processed entirely in your browser. Files never leave your device. Server-side conversions are uploaded to our servers, converted, and immediately deleted. We do not inspect, copy, or retain the contents of your files.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Upload files containing malware or malicious content
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse the API
• Reverse-engineer or scrape the service
• Use automated tools to overload the service

Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of all files you upload and convert. We claim no rights to your content. ChangeThisFile and its design are the property of Sovereign Firm.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranty. We do our best to ensure accurate conversions but cannot guarantee perfect results for every file and format combination. Always verify converted files before relying on them for critical work.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sovereign Firm shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of ChangeThisFile.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
